Anti-wrinkle injections use the medicine Botulinum Toxin type A to temporarily relax the muscle functions in the face, softening the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

The injection temporarily blocks the travelling of signals from nerve cells to muscles, as the muscles receive no contact they relax, lessening wrinkles in the face.

Anti-wrinkle injections aim to smoothen lines (wrinkles) in the face, giving the face a younger, smoother look to it. The injection causes the upper face muscles not to receive signals, relaxing them and temporarily smoothing out the forehead.

The treatment should take just 15 minutes to complete, and will see results 3-5 days after you have gotten the treatment. The treatment might take up to 14 days to take full effect, and may have some side effects, such as redness and tenderness immediately after the treatment.

Anti-Wrinkle Aftercare

Product needs at least 24 hours to settle.

Do not bother the injection site or apply pressure

This is to avoid preventing the product to reach the cells it needs to in order to work.

Avoid heat exposure including hot baths, sun exposure, sauna or steam rooms

This is because heat causes increased blood flow which might cause the product to be dispersed and therefore not last as long.

No makeup or spray tan for 8 hours at least

This to avoid any infection.
