Dermal Filler

Dermal fillers are injectable materials that help restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles and improve the appearance of fine lines. They are often used in cosmetic procedures to enhance facial features such as the cheeks, lips, and chin.

Dermal fillers are made from a variety of materials, including hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, and poly-L-lactic acid. Each material has its own unique properties and benefits, but they all work by filling in areas of the skin that have lost volume or elasticity.

Dermal fillers are a popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment because they can provide immediate results with minimal downtime. The procedure typically takes less than an hour to complete and most patients can return to their normal activities immediately afterward.

However, it’s important to choose a qualified and experienced injector to ensure safe and effective results. Like any medical procedure, dermal fillers carry some risks, including bruising, swelling, and infection, so it’s important to discuss the potential risks and benefits with a healthcare professional before undergoing treatment.
